                    Microsoft has launched their newest tablet called the Surface Pro 2. This new device is part of the Surface Series Windows 8 tablets. The Surface Pro 2 is the successor to the Surface Pro which released in February 2013. The Surface Pro 2 has many improvements such as battery life, processing power, camera ect. Microsoft is planning to come out with a bang! in the tablets industry. The tablet industry is neck and neck with other companies for example Samsung, Sony, Google and the leading competitor Apple with their ipad series fighting for consumers. Microsoft approached this with something different. The Surface Pro 2 with it's snap ability with a thin flat keyboard was something new yet innovative. 

                     Microsoft has competitors at all corners of the marketplace.Though the Microsoft Surface Pro 2 is a game changer it's not the ipad killer, One major problem for the Surface Pro 2 tablet is weight and Apple threw a right hook with the introduction of the ipad Air. Though the ipad Air wasn't as light as I anticipated it was a right step by apple with weight reduction . The Surface Pro 2 is a major competitor and and a leap into perfecting the Surface series. Microsoft's Surface Pro 2 is one of the best tablets on the market so far, overall Microsoft have succeeded with the Surface Pro 2 and this tablet performs just as well as a laptop.

       Another major project for Microsoft are the games for the upcoming Xbox One. Xbox 's 3 best selling franchises are Halo, Gears of War and Forza Motorsport by sales. Microsoft now wants to flood the market with brand new games and revive some franchises as well. Titanfall, Ryse: Son of Rome are totally new Franchises exclusive to Xbox and are anticipated to do well in sells. Microsoft has confirmed Halo 5 to revive the Halo Franchise and a new Fable game as well, which is also exclusive to Xbox. No sign of another Gears of War game due to the failure of Gears of War: Judgment. The major lineup for release on day 1 with the Xbox One are Forza Motorsport 5, Ryse: Son of Rome and Dead Rising 3. Microsoft want to have a diversity of exclusives from fantasy worlds to space warfare.
